Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 will not be a PS5 exclusive [rumor]

According to NateTheHate, Part 3 of Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released simultaneously on all platforms.

Since Final Fantasy VII Remake launched in 2020, Square Enix has partnered with Sony, securing exclusivity for the trilogy on its consoles. But what about Part 3 of the remake ? Now that the other parts are coming to all consoles, will Part 3 be a PS5 exclusive?

According to NateTheHate, an insider who has proven to be accurate with his rumors, no. It seems that the final part of Square Enix’s remake trilogy will arrive on all platforms simultaneously.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is coming to all consoles, says insider.

During the channel’s latest video, NateTheHate commented on several topics, including predictions and news from the Nintendo Direct partner event that takes place tomorrow (5) – and even mentions that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth for Switch 2 will be announced there.

At one point in the video, the insider says that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 (whose name we don’t know yet, but is already in development) shouldn’t have any timed exclusivity, meaning: the release will be simultaneous for all platforms, such as PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2 and also PC.

In the past, Square Enix has commented that it will end its policy of partnerships and exclusive content, and even talked about the remake trilogy, but nothing has been confirmed about the third installment yet. In other words, we know that all the games are coming to all platforms, but we don’t know if this will happen at the launch of part 3.

And although it’s not official, NateTheHate is usually right, as we’ve seen with rumors about the Switch 2, Persona, and much more (but it’s worth treating as a rumor anyway).

Therefore, there is a strong possibility that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 will be available on all platforms when it is released.
