PS5 is approaching its sixth year of life and still receives interesting updates from time to time. Now, in the latest update, fans have gained a long-awaited feature that helps to see better prices on the PSN. Come check it out!

PS5 receives a positive update for users.

In the latest PS5 update, players can now see a very valuable piece of information about a game: its launch price. And why is this good? Basically, it’s now possible to see if a title has had a permanent price cut and if it’s cheaper.

It’s not uncommon for older games to receive price cuts – and even Sony did this with the PlayStation Hits label, changing the price of acclaimed PS4 games to a more affordable price.

Since it’s a PS5 system update, it seems the new feature can only be viewed through the console. In other words, opening the store through the mobile app or the PSN Store in a PC browser won’t show this new information.

Since it’s a recently launched feature, many users may not be able to see it yet. However, it seems that Sony has been investing in this type of quality-of-life improvement for its users, as in 2025 the PSN will gain the option to see the lowest price of a game in the last 30 days.
